Firstly, we applied to install at ROOMS TO LET in Slavic Village. Weeks later: We are proud to announce you have been selected to participate as an artist in this year’s Rooms To Let: CLE! So we installed the SUN LABYRINTH in a vacant lot on E. 54th! And about the same time, we answered a call for art with the City of Willoughby. My DRAGONFLIES IN THE SKY was one of the ones selected for the utility boxes on Public Square! Then on Friday, less than 2 weeks ago, I read in Nan Kennedy’s Neighborhood Notes, that Waterloo Arts was looking for parking space installations as part of this year’s Art Fest. Deadline was Monday. Oh well hey. I can come up with something in 4 days, right? Squeeked in Monday afternoon. Acceptance confirmation arrived shortly thereafter. Oh. Better get busy. Fest is Saturday! Had great fun watching young and old (er) enjoy the HOPSCOTCH PLAYGROUND and … took the BEST OF THE FEST award! woohoo!
