ps - I'm now finally strong enough to do some new work, so long as it doesn't involve heavy lifting. So I'm doing some new thngs with vinyl and copper. (The burnt copper paintings have done well at Collective Upcycle in Lakewood.) I'm thinking maybe a labor-intensive burial suit like the one I saw at the China show at Great Lakes Science Center a few years ago. Only updated with 20th century vinyl.... or maybe one of burnt copper flashing - it has a kind of ancestral burnt-offering look to it ... Is this too morbid?
Survived both surgeries last month, and now the mending is going as well as can be expected. Still not strong enough to load up and haul everything to a fair (esp that heavy tent!), but there are plenty of galleries and boutiques that have been more than happy to show my work and do the selling for me. So even tho I'm sorry to have missed the good vibes at Hessler, there's been plenty of love both in Lakewood and N. Collinwood. Thanks everyone!
