thank you thank you thank you
to all the people who came to and participated in Ingenuity this past weekend. It just keeps getting better every year! From Loren's 8' plywood planet to the bridge mural to the giant waterfall off the bridge. And thank you Crazy Marvin Blues Band for getting our blood pumping Saturday morning. No caffeine needed! And also thank you to Gypsy Beans for keeping us fed all weekend long. Burning Man beware! (and you didn't even have to pack your own water and TP)
wot me sleep?
Ingenuity in 10 days!!!! Major work to finish, but it's coming along. The copper lantern is almost done and I have an idea for another that should go quickly, along with the wood one. The stoneware ones are also progressing, and hopefully will be bisqued this week so I can glaze them. Also found some wider bike gears that can be used for the lanterns. Most of the windchimes are finished. But oh, my hands ache. Also only just found out hours were extended an extra 2 hours Fri and Sat nite. It's going to be gruelling!
CPAC application done and delivered! YAY! Now it's that last push to finish the solar lanterns and bike part art windchimes for the Ingenuity Festival! That's a LOT of work to do,
